Peter (Pete) Cooke, spent most of his life in Sydney and had a long career in the printing industry. He commenced his interest in community radio in the late 80s and began on-air work in 1992 at 2NBC (Narwee). Upon relocating to the Central Coast in 2002, he began an association with Gosford

Community Radio Station (Coast FM) and was on air for 16 years until moving to a slower lifestyle in Grafton, mid 2018. Pete's interests include sport and music and he has a massive collection on music from the 50s till the 70s, with a particular emphasis on Australian rock & roll and the music he loves best: Soul, Blues and Light Jazz. Community radio taught him that music has lots of stories to tell and he's constantly seeking background information on his "passion". He currently presents Pete's Prescription, two hours of Soul, Motown, Blues with a touch of jazz every Thursday between 7 and 9pm.

 

Gloria Mealia hails from the Central Coast of NSW and spent her adult working life in the retail industry (confectionary), and apart from raising a family took a keen interest in the local performing arts and music as well as being an avid reader. Currently is on-air assistant on Pete's Prescription.
